Dr. Rahaman has born in 12 February, 1977 at Raqunpur village under Naogaon district. His principle interest is in good governance and development of marginal people. He has several publications and a number of research articles on governance, economics, rural development, political, labor and peasant movement in national and international journals. His book 'Plain Land Indigenous People: Development Towards Ending Poverty' was widely acclaimed as a significant contribution for the Economic development of Indigenous communities in Bangladesh. His other book 'Moni Singha: Communist Movement & Contemporary Polities is one the rear treatise on the peoples movement in Bangle. At present he is working on good governance in local government and the history of Naogaon district.
