Nazrul Islam

Nazrul Islam is a Professor of Geography and Environment at the University of Dhaka, and Honorary Chairman of the Centre for Urban Studies, Dhaka. He is currently also the Chairman of the Board of Dhaka Water and Sewerage Authority. Professor Islam was the Coordinator for the Bangladesh-Pakistan Sub-region and the Asian Region in the Global Urban Research Initiative (GURI).
