Giasuddin Ahmed Choudhury

Mr Giasuddin Ahmed Choudhury joined the Bangladesh Water Development Board (BWDB) in 1970 and went on to become the Additional Director General (ADG) in 2004. In 2005, he joined Center for Environmental and Geographic Information Services (CEGIS) as the Executive Director and is still continuing. He is also the member of Joint River Commission (JRC), Bangladesh. He is also the coordinator for Global Water Partnership, South Asia (GWP-SA). With more than 36 years of experience in the field of water resources, environment and natural resources management, Mr. Choudhury has worked extensively on planning, formulating and supervising projects.
