Haruhisa Asada

Haruhisa Asada is a Post Doctoral Research Fellow of the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science, also a Visiting Fellow at Department of Geography, Tokyo Metropolitan University, Japan. His research interest is nature and society relationship in northeast India and Bangladesh. He obtained a doctorate in Graduate School of Asian and African Area Studies, Kyoto University, Japan. This book is based on his doctoral thesis. During his fieldwork in India, he was affiliated with Department of Geography, Gauhati University as a Research Scholar.
