Kazuo Ando

Dr. Kazuo ANDO is an Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Practice-oriented Area Studies, Center for Southeast Asian Studies, Kyoto University, Japan. He was graduated from the Shizuoka University and obtained both M.Sc. (Agri.) and Ph.D. degrees from Kyoto University. He conducted a part of his Ph.D. research at Bangladesh Agricultural University during 1985-1990 on Agriculture and Rural Development in Bangladesh. Dr. Ando has long time working experiences in Bangladesh Agriculture in various capacities such as Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteer and Long Term JICA Expert. Currently he has been conducting joint study in Bangladesh, Myanmar, Laos and India in his discipline.
