This report presents detailed data tables of district results from the Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey (MICS) 2006. Subjects include nutrition, child health, water and sanitation, reproductive health, education, HIV/AIDS and child protection. The Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey, known as Progotir Pathey, is a UNICEF-developed household survey which aims to fill data gaps for monitoring human development, particularly relating to children and women. With technical support from UNICEF, the Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics conducted the 2006 survey among a total of 62,463 households. It provides disaggregated data down to district level on a large number of socioeconomic indicators.
