Bangladesh Educational Statistics 2015

There has been a remarkable development in education in the last thirty years in Bangladesh. The rate of participation has increased steadily at all levels. The main responsibility of BANBEIS is to collect, analyze, compile data and publish educational statistics covering all levels in the post-primary sector. This organization also disseminates education data published by the Directorate of primary Education. Since various levels and areas of education are inter-related, it is necessary and prudent to publish all pertinent statistics on education in a single publication. The annual report entitled ‘Bangladesh Educational Statistics-2015’ is an attempt to publish educational statistics at all levels for the year 2015. This document comprises data collected from all post-primary educational institutions through on-line (self-responding).Every educational institute updated the respective database information on-line and sent it through internet. Quality Assurance (QA) process took place for validation. Databases have been developed in ORACLE 11g using ORACLE Developer 2010. We made all efforts to present the comprehensive and quality statistics, which will hopefully be useful for purposes of educational planning and management. This report can be used as a basis for educational planning and future investment by the Government, NGOs and private sectors as well as by the Donor Communities in Bangladesh.
